Forgive Yourself

"Jesus, how could I possibly follow you? If I decided to lead a Christian life, I would surely fail to measure up."
"Zac, I have already forgiven your shortcomings. And because I forgive you, you can forgive yourself. Come down from the high tree of alienation from God and other people. God's pardon wipes out the past. The marks of the past may remain, but they become a reminder of redeeming grace. I can raise you to great heights by giving you a new life in me."
