Today is Wednesday, September 7th, 2011; Karen's Korner #2148

Judy Weir emailed me a listing of 'positive to dos' to live by. The list included 36 items plus graphics. I am forwarding you ten of those on the list:
 
1. Separate worries from concerns.
If a situation is a concern,
find out what God would have you to do and let go of the anxiety.
If you can't do anything about a situation,
forget it.
 
2. Do something for the 'kid in you' every day.
 
3. Talk less; listen more.
 
4. Remember that the shortest distance
between despair and hope is often,
"Thank You, Jesus!"
 
5. Remind yourself that you are NOT
the general manager of the universe.
 
6. Every day find time to be alone.
 
7. Having problems?
Talk to God on the spot.
Try to nip small problems in the bud.
Don't wait until it's time to
go to bed to try and pray. 
 
8. Be kind to unkind people
(they probably need it the most.)
 
9. Slow down.
 
10. Every night before bed,
think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.
