Today is Friday, March 23rd, 2012; Karen's Korner #2280

This week was spring break for our daughter Jamie's two school-aged children.

Lots of opportunities to cross things off their 'to do' list.

On Sunday, eight-year-old Luke packed his bag to spend a couple of days with his Grandma and Grandpa Champion. They have a several acre wooded area plus a ravine. All waiting for a young boy to spend some of his time.

Molly decided to ride along. It was time for her to spend some 'dad-daughter' bonding time. The six-year-old and dad went to the movie "The Lorax" before returning home.

Not to be outdone four-year-old Noah said to his mom, "Mom, I want to spend some time with you. Sitting on the couch and cuddling. Watching a cartoon. Because I love you so much!"

Guess where Noah and Jamie spent the next hour plus?

When was the last time you said to God,  "Can I spend some time with You? I need to sit on Your lap and cuddle for a little while. Because I love You so much?"

And if Jamie couldn't deny Noah's humble little request, I doubt Our Heavenly Father who loves us more, than Jamie as an earthly mother, would turn us down either.

So just for a few minutes today:  cuddle up!

"How Great Is Our God"

The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end

The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb

Name above all names
Worthy of our praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
