To celebrate Father's Day yesterday, our church gave dads who attended a couple-inch wooden cube with a printed prayer on each of the six sides.

I am sharing three of them with you today:

Dear Father, when I feel frustrated and impatient,

please calm me with Your peace.

I surrender my need to control, for the good of my family and the serenity of my soul.

In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You said,

'Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.'

Help me love and nurture my family with my whole heart, and to live a pure life according to Your Word.

Amen.

God, grant me the Serenity to accept my children as they are,

the Courage to lead them with Your guidance,

and the Wisdom to love them no matter what!
