Today is Friday, July 17th, 2020; Karen's Korner #4255

Yesterday morning I caught part of a Christian broadcast featuring Steve Furtick. His topic was anxiety and being anxious.

His charge to his listening audience was what is the center letter of anxious?

Furtick said being anxious normally starts each thought and sentence with 'I'!

But he said to address the issue is also in the word anxious.

What are the last two letters?

The resolution to the condition is as close as the letters 'us'. Anxiety is lessened when we can talk about it with a friend, family member, Bible study, Sunday school class, prayer group, attending a worship service.

God doesn't want us to be anxious.

:"Have no anxiety about anything,
but in everything by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds,
in Christ Jesus."
