Today is Thursday, August 13th, 2020; Karen's Korner #4274

A number of weeks ago the hanging geranium on the south side of my farm home needed some help. The red blooms needed to be trimmed off. Some leaves were yellow. Others were brown.

So I brought out the scissors. Cut back all of the blooms. Plus some of the leaves. Pulled out the dead ones.

Today I counted more than two dozen flowers. The leaves are green. Maybe not as bright as the spring. But pretty nice!

As I marveled I couldn't help but think about us. Do we sometimes begin to droop? Need to have some of our tired blooms picked off to make room for new ones? So that we can GO again?

God, I have to admit I don't like it when You pull, prod, or snip things in my life. But thank You for making needed 'changes' in my life/our lives. All You do is because You love us and want the best for me/us! We thank You for Your tender, loving, care! In Jesus' name. Amen.
