Today is Monday, August 31st, 2020; Karen's Korner #4286

Last Friday I was to have a 10-minute outpatient procedure at the Mason City hospital. First I needed a COVID test on Tuesday morning. Wednesday afternoon the hospital called to cancel it because I had tested positive.

I was to be quarantined until this coming Friday and let our county public health department know who I had been around from Saturday until they called back with my results.

So far I have none, or maybe minimal symptoms. People who I have identified are one-by-one being told they are negative or are being tested. At any rate, to date, no one is sick.

But I had a number of people praying for a good outcome!

Psalm 50:15 says, "I want you to trust Me in your times of trouble, so I can rescue you and you can give Me glory."

If I had my way, I would trust God perfectly. Probably not in this life! I heard a speaker one morning last week say, "We all have perfect hearts because they have been reclaimed by Jesus. We just don't have perfect lives nor perfect minds."

And Romans 8:28 tells us, "And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into His plans."

Praise God! Hard to tell what He has in mind next! Thanks for caring and praying. Best of all 'believing'!
