Today is Friday, December 25th, 2020; Karen's Korner #4370

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I came pretty close to not sending a Karen's Korner today! People are busy; I am busy! Generally, I send 'korners' out Monday - Friday. Sometimes I send them out on Saturday, if I have had computer problems, was away from my computer, etc. I could send one out tomorrow.

But my next thought, "No, this is the day we talk about, live for every day of the year. It is the birth of Jesus and we need to celebrate and be reminded!"

So here is today's 'korner', which you might not read until tomorrow. And the words to 'Joy to the World' which you can probably sing or say without reading them.

Anyway "Merry Christmas!"

Joy to the world! The Lord is come
Let earth receive her King!
Let every heart prepare Him room
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven, and heaven and nature sing

Joy to the world! The Savior reigns
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods
Rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace
And makes the nations prove
And glories of His righteousness
And wonders of His love
And wonders of His love
And wonders of His love
And wonders, wonders of His love

~ taken from Psalm 98
written by Isaac Watts (1674 - 1748)
