(No Karen's Korner yesterday: sick day!)
One day last week I was watching a contemporary Christian television station. Alveda King, Martin Luther King's niece, was the guest speaker; I am guessing it was recorded near Martin Luther King's birthday. She ended by singing three verses of "This Little Light of Mine". It was good. Heartfelt.
This little light of mine,
I’m gonna let it shine;
This little light of mine,
I’m gonna let it shine;
This little light of mine,
I’m gonna let it shine,
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Ev’rywhere I go,
I’m gonna let it shine;
Ev’rywhere I go,
I’m gonna let it shine;
Ev’ry where I go,
I’m gonna let it shine,
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Jesus gave it to me,
I’m gonna let it shine;
Jesus gave it to me,
I’m gonna let it shine;
Jesus gave it to me,
I’m gonna let it shine,
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
