Okay,
here I go!
Thanks for some of your comments while I took a break! I can do this! Sometimes
it is easier to NOT to something. Than to DO it!
What I have decided to do is a couple each week before I come back to each week
day.
Most never noticed. All the Monday Karen's Korners, ended in the #s 1 and 6;
Fridays were 5 and 0. It helps me keep track. But not now!
I am soliciting God's help and yours to keep me on track. Thanks for sticking
with me!!

"I recall the many miracles He did for me so long ago. Those
wonderful deeds are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about
them.
"O God, your ways are holy. Where is there any other as mighty as you? You
are the God of miracles and wonders! You still demonstrate your awesome
power."
~ Psalm 77:11 - 14 LAB
*
Bible Commentary: "Memories of God's goodness and
faithfulness sustained Israel through their difficulties. They knew that God
was capable and trustworthy. When we meet new trials, review the good things
God has done in our lives and this will strengthen our faith."

A dose of God's love; "100 Things God Loves About You; Simple Reminders for When You Need Them most" by Tama Fortner. Number #33: GOD LOVES TO LIFT YOU UP.
"Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me."
~ Psalm 30:2
"The Devil thinks he's winning. It' been a terrible day---loss, failure, disasters big or small. Whatever happened has knocked yo to your knees, and the Devil has got you beat....or so het thinks. Little does he know that on your knees is the place of your greatest hope and greatest strength. It's the place of prayer. The place where you reach up to God and the place where He reaches down to you, to help and to heal because God loves to lift you up."

Something written by Max Lucado: BAG OF BURDENS
"Worry is the burlap bag of burdens. It’s overflowing with 'whaddifs' and 'howells.' Whaddif after all my dieting, I find out lettuce is fattening and chocolate isn’t? Howell will we pay our baby’s tuition? Whaddifs and Howells. The burlap bag of worry. Cumbersome. Chunky. Unattractive. Scratchy. Irritating to carry and impossible to give away.
"No one wants your worries. Truth is, you don’t want them either. No one has to remind you of the high cost of anxiety, but I will anyway. Worry divides the mind. It splits our energy between today’s priorities and tomorrow’s problems. The result is half-minded living. Hebrews 4:16 encourages us to 'boldly approached the throne of our gracious God, where we may receive mercy and in his grace find timely help.' God’s help is timely! God will do the right thing at the right time. And what a difference that makes." ***

"But the godly shall flourish like palm trees, and grow tall as the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted into the Lord's garden, and are under his personal care."
~ Psalm 92:12 & 13 LAB
* Bible Commentary: "Palm trees are known for their long life. To flourish like palm trees means to stand tall and to live long. The cedars of Lebanon grow to 120 feet in height and up to 30 feet in circumference; thus, they were solid, strong, and unmovable. The psalmist saw believers as upright, strong, and unmoved by the winds of circumstance." **** |

Something by Sarah Young and her "Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence'' for May 31. Taking us into June! "The Peace that I give you transcends your intellect. When most of your mental energy goes into efforts to figure things out, you are unable to receive this glorious gift. I look into your mind and see thoughts spinning round and round: going nowhere, accomplishing nothing. All the while, My Peace hovers over you, searching for a place to land.
"Be still in My Presence, inviting Me to control your thoughts. Let My Light soak into your mind and heart, until you are aglow with My very Being. This is the most effective way to receive My Peace."
~ Taken from 2 Thessalonians 3:16: Job 22:21
