Today is Thursday, July 26th, 2007; Karen's Korner #1114
We had a great celebration in our city park last night: the boys were back!! Three Clarion residents, all members of the Iowa National Guard, unit 133. They had been gone to Iraq for nearly two years! Time to celderate their safe return to our midst and thank them for serving us and our country!
We are thankful and blessed in so many, many ways!
Dear Father in Heaven, thank You for Your love, Your protection, Your care. We are truly blessed by You, by family members, by friends, and by people we sometimes don't even know. Thank You for the plans You have for each of us, just for today. Be with us, guide us, direct us. Help us not to take Your love, guidance, grace, and mercy for granted. We are more blessed than we will ever be able to recognize. You tell us to always be thankful; aid us in that endeavor. We tend to want what we want....when we want it! Help us to want You first; help us to want You more! Thank You, Father God. Amen.
