As we get closer to the Thanksgiving holiday, we tend to focus more on family, our immediate family and our extended families.
 
Joel and Victoria Osteen's email daily devotional makes me think of being a part of God's forever family.
 

You Are Chosen

“As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.” (John 15:19)

"Being chosen for something feels good. Being a part of something that is greater and bigger than yourself makes you feel wanted, needed and accepted. God has chosen you to be His child and share in the blessings of His family. You are special because you have been personally and individually chosen by God to be His representative and witness in this world. You are important and needed right where you are, so go out and live today like a chosen child of God."

God, thank You for blessing me and making me a part of Your family. Strengthen me each day as I serve Your team! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
