Today is Monday, February 11th, 2008; Karen's Korner #1246
He's here! Luke and Molly have a new brother! Noah Michael was born late on Friday night, weighing in at 9# 2 oz and measuring 21 inches long. Tim and Jamie are his beeming parents. Jim and I get to boast as grandparents.
Looking at Noah and how perfectly made he is, it reminds me again why I believe that abortion isn't a very good idea!
"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body,
and knit them together in my mother's womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
It is amazing to think about.
Your workmanship is marvelous--
and how well I know it.
You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion!
You saw me before I was born
and scheduled each day of my life
before I began to breathe.
Every day was recorded in your Book!
~~ Psalms 139:13 - 16
Bible Commentary: God's character goes into the creation of every person. When you feel worthless or even begin to hate yourself, remember that God's Spirit is ready and willing to work within you to make your character all God meant it to be. God thinks of you constatnly. We should have as much respect for ourselves, as our Maker has for us.
Dear Father in Heaven, thank You God, for a perfectly formed Noah and for the plans You have for him and his future. And for the plans You have for each one of us. Thank You that we are each wonderfully complex. Who can help but praise You for our numerous, numerous blessings. In the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen.
