Today is Tuesday, February 26th, 2008; Karen's Korner #1257

A comment I heard on a news show and an interview with Dr. Phil. He said the marriage and divorce rate of couples in America today, there is one new divorce for every two new marriages; for a ratio of 1:2.

According to himl, if a couple prays together, that ratio of marriage to divorce goes to 1 in 10,000!

Wow! I haven't checked his comments out, but wow! That isn't just a significant increase, that is overwhelming....

So does praying change God? Change me? Change my spouse? Change situations?

I'd say the answer to those questions is an overwhelming, booming, "YES!"

The Bible says, "...always keep on praying..." in I Thessalonians 5:17.

What does that mean?

Several comments from my Bible commentary (in part): "We can't spend all of our time on our knees or with our hands folded, but it is possible to have a prayerful attitude all the time....when we pray, we will begin to see people in a new perspective....."

God knew, didn't He?

Looks like praying won't hurt; just might help....any situation, every situation!
