Enter His Joy!
"Many people notice that the book of Philippians is filled with joy. One of the signature verses in Philippians is, 'Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!' (4:4). It is easy to think that Paul wrote these words from some safe and secure ivory tower. But the truth is, he wrote them as a prisoner in chains. Yet in all of this he had joy beyond description.
"When we read the words of Philippians, it is as if God is reaching a hand out to each of us and inviting us to enter His joy. No matter what we are facing today, God can bring joy. No matter how bright or dark your day, He offers hope. No matter what your checkbook balance says, He can provide. No matter how shady your past might be, your future can be filled iwth joy beyond measure, Even if your feet are blistered, your legs are weak, and you don't feel like you can take another step, God invites you to joy beyond your wildest dreams and offers strength to run the race to win!"
