Clarion resident Ania is a friend to about everyone she meets. Her winning smile, sparkly eyes, and winning conversation makes her hard not to like.
For the last year plus she has been dealing with cancer. Her latest check up found some cancer cells which needed to be attacked. Now she waits another three months to learn if the treatment worked.
Sharing with her son, her desire to 'be here' for him and for grandchildren, and maybe shedding a tear surrounding her fears, Nicky said, "Mom, do you remember when we moved from the small house to our bigger house? Did you shed any tears about leaving behind the small house?"
All of us as her friends are praying that Ania will remain well and this is God's will for her life. We want her around to be with us and her family for more years.
But Nicky is right, as Christians, Ania (and the rest of us) will be upgrading when we leave this world to live with Jesus in our "forever home".
"In my Father's house are many mansions;

"Dear Father in Heaven, thank You for Ania being in our lives. We ask that You might heal her of her cancer; we want her to be in our lives here on earth for another number of years. Thank You that You came to show us Your love and Your way. Thank You that You have gone to heaven to prepare a 'mansion' for each of us as Your followers; and today and everyday, You are preparing each of us for that place. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
