Today is Tuesday, July 24th, 2012; Karen's Korner #2367

We are in a sever drought in much of the United States and we don't like it.

I know it must be dry when I am allowing a few green weeds to remain in spots in some of my flower gardens because it adds 'color'.

Like everything in our lives, God has some things to say on our 'every day' matters:

"Don't be impatient.

Wait for the Lord,
and He will come and save you!

Be brave,
stouthearted
and
courageous.

Yes,
wait
and He will help you."

Bible Commentary:  Waiting on God is not easy. Often it seems that He isn't answering prayers or doesn't understand the urgency of our situation. That kind of thinking implies that God is not in control or is not fair. But God is worth waiting for. Often God uses waiting to refresh, renew and teach us. Make good use of your waiting times by discovering what God may be trying to teach us in then.

PRAYER:  Father in Heaven, thank You for being our God. Forgive us for praying for what we need and want, more than worshipping You as God, Creator, Caregiver, Love-giver, full of Compassion. You have blessed us so much and so often; that's what we want. Not You. Show us how to want You more. Help us to focus on Your heart and not Your hand. Amen.
