A couple of your responses to the question in the last 'korner', what makes it "Good" Friday? (Thanks for all the responses which I received!)
From Robert: 'Because it is the day that Christ's death washed away our sins.'
From Val and Loren: 'We googled 'good' and found that it can also mean 'holy'.
So what adjectives would you use to describe Easter?
"But when they (three women) arrived
they looked up and saw that the stone--
a very heavy one--
was already moved away and the entrance was open!
So they entered the tomb--
and there on the right sat a young man clothed in white.
The women were startled,but the angel said,
'Don't be so surprised.
Aren't you looking for Jesus, the Nazarene who was crucified?
He isn't here!
