Millions of people watched Sunday's Super Bowl. We have heard that the Broncos won, in part, because of their outstanding defense.

Here is something I read this morning and I thought it seemed appropriate given the news:

"He is my strength, my shield from every danger.

I trusted Him, and He helped me.

Joy rises in my heart until I burst out in songs of praise in Him;

and He helped me."

Bible Commentary:  "In the sports world, there is phrase, ' A good defense is a great offense'. In the spiritual battle around us, God is our strength and our shield. He is our defense against all that would harm us. If we trust in Him, He will certainly defend us from the vicious attacks of our enemies."
