Pretty time of the year at my farm home. Lots of flowers in my flower beds are in full bloom. Weeding now is at a minimum because flowers have outgrown them!
Whenever I get ready to weed or do weed whacking, I always begin at the front. Where I can best see out my kitchen windows. Where people driving into my yard or walking up my sidewalk can best view the multiple blooms. Back side of my house gets left for my attention another day. People, me included, can't pay attention to what they can't see.
Do I do that with things in my life? Out of sight; out of mind.
But not God! He sees the 'unseen'. What others can't see about my life. Things I try to ignore. Maybe don't even recognize about myself.
Psalm 139 tells much about God. About me. About others. Chapter introduction says, "God is all-seeing, all-knowing, all-holy, all-present. God know us, God is with us, and His greatest gift is to allow us to know Him." Verse 12 says, "For even darkness cannot hide from God; to You the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are both alike you You."
