I like gardening and flowers are my specialty. Marigolds of three different sizes have graced the sidewalk to my home all season. I also plant and water a narrow garden near South Main in Clarion each year. This year the tall variety.

People remark at their beauty often. Now as we head toward the end of the season, they aren't as 'beautiful' as they once were. I have 'dead-headed' them twice. Now there are too many to even think about it! Several of the plants have died.

And yet the remarks continue. Because the overall beauty and colors continue.

I wonder if it something like us, our family, our church, our community,or any organization. Maybe our state or nation? There might be some 'flaws' or even a 'dead head or two' but the garden is still pretty in its overall look!

Thank You, Jesus, that we don't have to be perfect to 'bloom' in Your garden! Thank You, too, that You add to our collective beauty!
