Today is Monday, December 6th, 2004; Karen's Korner #431

It's early in the holiday season, so I have sent and received only a handful of Christmas cards. Because we have received only about six cards, they are standing up on our kitchen table. I have had the opportunity to read and re-read the front of the one from Jim's aunt, Jessie Shupe.

Here is what it said:

if you have ever cried....
 
If you have ever believed,
if you have ever doubted.....
 
If you have ever been loved,
if you have ever been lonely.......
 
If you have ever felt burdened by trouble,
if you have ever felt blessed by joy.....
 
If you  have ever drawn one breath upon this earth --
then Jesus was born for you!
