Today is Monday, December 27th, 2021; Karen's Korner #4601

How quickly we turn the page away from Christmas and move on to the next thing!

I spent some time this morning looking through a hymnal. Many Christmas songs are hundreds of years old!

I am going to include two songs which are relatively new. Familiar. Not really Christmas songs but printed near those which are.

There's Something About That Name

By Gloria & Bill Gaither, 1970

"Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
There's just something about that name!
Master, Savior, Jesus!
Like the fragrance after the rain.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
Let all heaven and earth proclaim;
Kings and kingdoms will all pass away,
but there's something about that name!

His Name Is Wonderful

By Audrey Mieir, 1959

"His name is wonderful,
his name is wonderful,
his name is wonderful,
Jesus, my Lord.

He is the mighty King,
Master of everything;
his name is wonderful,
Jesus my Lord.

He's the great Shepherd,
the Rock of all ages,
almighty God is he;

bow down before him,
love and adore him,
his name is wonderful,
Jesus, my Lord."
