The weight of responsibility, memories of disappointment, and a vague sense of dread sometimes greet me before my feet hit the floor. Greet them back, Father, with your peace. Bless me with your sight, so that responsibilities become privileges, memories are wisdom gained, and dread is replaced with joyful anticipation. Make me unshakable, God.
