"Lord, what's it like to win every single time---to know going into the contest that you cannot lose? I have to admit somehing: I am afraid of defeat. I’m afraid of looking weak, of getting hurt, of not knowing where to go afterward. Father, give me your assurance that defeat is impossible, and I have nothing to fear. Even if things don't work out the way I want, I'll have avoided all the wasted hours of worry and doubt, and my confidence --- your confidence---will reassure me that what seems like loss is actually part of the plan, that my victory is still ahead. I am looking for your assurance, Lord, This fear is getting heavy, and I'm ready to set it aside."
